Working within our Lettings department based in Glasgow and with a high degree of independence, you will be responsible for the implementation of the private client growth strategy as set out by the Associate Director. This will principally involve pitching for and securing a diverse range of new private client lettings business in a highly competitive market in order to consistently grow the value of branch assets under management.
In addition to reacting to valuation requests, you will be expected to be proactive and innovative in the generation of new business leads. This will involve networking with professional contacts such as wealth managers, accountants, IFAs and lawyers, along with building strong working relationships with our Glasgow sales teams to generate cross-referral business. Your role will be vital in raising awareness of the Lettings service offering and advising clients/potential clients about our lettings and property management services.
The successful candidate will ideally be ARLA qualified and have at least two years’ experience in generating new business in a Lettings environment.
The successful candidate will be required to clearly demonstrate their extensive knowledge of the letting industry with relevant experience gained in a competitive target driven environment. They must also demonstrate a proven ability to deal with a highly diverse client base in terms of both asset value and client type from single landlords to portfolio landlords.
A clear understanding of residential property as an asset class and a high level of financial literacy is essential as the role will include accurate forecasting of potential income streams and your conversion rate versus your team targets.
