Sales Executive – Corporate Events

Cheshire | £28,000 + Bonus | Full-time | Hybrid Working

We’re working exclusively with a well-established, independent corporate events agency based in Cheshire, known for delivering seamless venue sourcing, logistics and event delivery for a wide range of professional clients across the UK and beyond.

They’re growing — and are now looking for a confident and personable Sales Executive to join their warm, collaborative team and support their next stage of development.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with prior B2B sales experience who’s looking to step into a more people-led, less corporate environment, without losing the professionalism or pace of a busy events operation. If you’ve worked in events, hospitality, or venue sales — even better.

The Role

You'll be the driving force behind new business development and enquiry management, working to grow the client base while nurturing strong relationships. You’ll support with proposals, venue sourcing, and logistics handovers, all while ensuring a smooth client experience from start to finish.

If you’ve got experience in digital marketing or CRM platforms too, that’s a big bonus — this agency is forward-thinking and keen to invest in tools that support smarter sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business leads and opportunities
  • Respond to and convert inbound event enquiries
  • Assist with venue sourcing, quoting and proposal development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Use CRM systems to track leads and sales performance
  • Support marketing campaigns and follow-up strategies
  • Represent the agency at networking events, client meetings and trade shows

You’ll Have…

  • Experience in a sales or business development role (ideally B2B or within events/hospitality)
  • A friendly, confident approach with excellent communication skills
  • Great organisation and attention to detail
  • A genuine interest in the corporate events industry
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or digital sales tools (desirable)
  • A self-motivated, proactive mindset — and a good sense of humour!
