Castle Employment Agency Ltd. in North Yorkshire is recruiting a Business Development Executive to own the full new-business journey, from identifying prospects to closing deals. You will travel as needed, with hybrid work after probation (three days in the office, two from home).
You will build relationships, develop a strong pipeline and contribute to company growth by selling technical products and solutions to new customers.
We are recruiting a Business Development Executive for an established business based in North Yorkshire, within commuting distance of Thirsk, Bedale, Richmond and Darlington. This full-time position offers a basic salary of £43,000, uncapped commission and a car allowance, working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm. Following successful completion of the probationary period, hybrid working will be available, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development professional who enjoys opening new doors, building trusted relationships and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue.
You will take ownership of the complete new-business sales journey, from identifying prospective customers and creating opportunities through to understanding their requirements, presenting tailored solutions, negotiating terms and securing new accounts.
Supported by an experienced internal team, you will have the autonomy to manage your own sales activity, develop a strong pipeline and contribute directly to the continued growth of the business.
The position will involve a combination of office-based working, home working and external customer meetings. You will therefore need to be comfortable managing your own diary, travelling to meet prospective customers and maintaining momentum across a varied sales pipeline.
The successful candidate will ideally have worked within one or more of the following sectors: Electronics or power electronics. Defence. Technical manufacturing. Engineering-led businesses.
An existing network of Engineering, Technical, Procurement or Commercial decision-makers would be particularly valuable. However, this is not essential if you can demonstrate a strong track record of opening new markets and developing relationships from an initial introduction.
If you are a commercially driven business development professional who can build relationships, create opportunities and convert prospects into profitable customers, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
