Job summary

VWFS UK is hiring a Customer Service Advisor to respond to dealer enquiries by phone and process financial documents for timely payouts to dealers. You will verify details in internal systems and ensure data accuracy according to procedures and response time guidelines.

You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations and work with other business areas to deliver excellent service while managing deadlines and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service centres or finance is desirable.
• Understanding of data protection and consumer credit regulations is desirable.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.

Job description

• Maintaining your level of understanding of the FCA regulations to ensure you are competent to fulfil your role

This role is responsible for processing appropriate documents for finance submitted by Volkswagen Group Dealers/Retailers - verifying details and ensuring speedy pay out to our dealers. Advisors must possess a keen desire to ensure that dealer applications and queries, either over the phone or through correspondence, are dealt with quickly and efficiently. With key products and services aligned to some of the leading brands in the motor industry, our aim is to ensure second to none service levels and effective communications linked to timely and effective action.

• Full PC literacy essential
• Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities
• Previous customer service centre, call centre or finance company experience is desirable
• An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable
• Strong customer service focus essential and a customer friendly manner at all times
• Able to demonstrate systematic thought processes
• Able to cope with pressure and meet deadlines, and to work a flexible working pattern incl. evenings and weekends plus some Bank Holidays
