A leading drinks supply company is looking for a New Business Account Manager to cover North Devon. In this role, you will manage accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and promote products effectively. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and ideally a WSET Level 2 qualification, along with commercial experience in selling wine. Job description

Job Title: New Business Account Manager

Reports to: Sales Manager

Location: Covering North Devon

Overview

To deliver the pre-agreed budgeted margin for the designated postcode area. To increase the number of trading accounts in the postcode area by achieving a pre-agreed new business target. To retain the existing customer base and grow the spend per account through category up-selling. To represent the company to the market and to represent the market to the company.

Main Duties
  • Deliver your contribution to the depot gross margin.
  • Manage the debt ledger for your area, including correct completion of company account forms and the timely collection of cash and cheques where appropriate.
  • Deliver targets on drive brands with brand partners.
  • Over-deliver on customer service aspects you can influence.
  • Have the overriding responsibility, duty of care, and management of your accounts from start to finish.
  • Liaise effectively with all other departments, including telesales, credit control, sales support, distribution, and administration.
  • Organize technical installations on draught beer dispensing equipment.
  • Consult with customers to offer impartial advice on promotional activities to help grow their businesses.
  • Liaise with brand representatives operating in your area.
  • Promote LWC Drinks' own brand products successfully.
