Location: Milton Keynes, with travel to project sites as required (generally between Milton Keynes and North London)

Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000

They are seeking a Roofing Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of pitched and flat roofing schemes across new build projects, mainly on the commercial side.

Role Overview

The New Build Roofing Contracts Manager will manage roofing contracts from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. Responsibilities include managing teams of roofing operatives and subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and liaising with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of new build roofing contracts, ensuring quality standards and project specifications are met.
• Oversee daily operations on roofing sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as needed.
• Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Report on project status to the Operations Manager and senior management.
• Lead project planning and coordination, ensuring resources are in place.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure standards are met.
• Collaborate with estimators and operations to plan project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, conduct audits, and prepare RAMS.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability.
• Provide regular updates and participate in project meetings.

Key Skills & Experience

• CSCS card required; SMSTS/SSSTS certification advantageous.
• First Aid certification beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing new build roofing projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of roofing materials, techniques, and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, including cost and time monitoring.
• Problem-solving skills on-site.

Additional Requirements

• Valid UK driving license.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
