Qualifications

• Advanced clinical knowledge in neurosurgical nursing and patient-centred care.
• Ability to lead and coordinate shifts, with effective escalation and prioritisation.
• Experience in clinical governance, audits, and service improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical nursing care to neurosurgical patients, ensuring safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care.
• Deputise for the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse and manage ward operations, staffing, and patient flow.
• Lead, supervise and mentor registered nurses, nursing associates and support workers; support recruitment and appraisals.
