Job description

Your roles and responsibilities

North Downs Specialist Referrals is seeking an American or European Diplomate in Neurology or a residency-trained neurologist to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term contract, ideally starting in August or September.

You will join our well-established multi-disciplinary team, which includes clinicians across 12 services, such as our state-of-the-art pain management clinic. Our imaging facilities include a Canon Vantage Elan 1.5T MRI and an Aquilion Lightning 16-slice CT. Our theatre suites are equipped with the InvetraTM pedicle screw fixation system to support surgical procedures.

Our neurology team collaborates closely with discipline-specific nurses and interns, alongside our wider nursing and rotating intern teams.

This is a full-time position (5 days per week); however, we are open to considering part-time arrangements based on the candidate's needs.

We handle a large and diverse caseload, providing imaging support for over 30 specialists across orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, dentistry, and dermatology.
