Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust invites applications for a substantive consultant neurologist based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich to deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient neurology services.

The post is full-time; applicants must be on GMC Specialist Register for Neurology or within six months of CCT. Duties include four clinics per week, ward referrals, cross-cover, teaching medical students, and involvement in MDTs and research.

Formación

• Must be on GMC Specialist Register for Neurology or within six months of obtaining CCT.
• Provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Neurology service.
• Teaching and supervising medical students and junior staff may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Cover four clinics per week (4 hourly clinic = 1 PA).
• Cross-cover colleagues on leave and attend radiology/rehab MDTs.
• Teach medical students in teaching sessions and in clinics/ ward rounds.
• Support relevant research activity.
