Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset is recruiting for a Neurology post covering Poole, Bournemouth and Dorchester. The role involves delivering Neurology services across the county with ward and outpatient duties and an 8 PA per week workload.

The post offers opportunity to specialise in Epilepsy or Multiple Sclerosis and to work within a MDT framework, collaborating with colleagues at the neighbouring Southampton hospital. Some out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Evidence of Neurology experience.
• Participation in Audit and Research.

Responsibilities

• The post holder would be expected to play a full role in delivery of the Neurology service across Dorset. This includes support to the acute wards for Neurology patients as well as carrying an outpatient case load.
