Job summary

Inspire Neurocare in Farnborough is seeking an Activities Coordinator to support the wellbeing, confidence and quality of life of adults with complex neurological conditions and injuries.

You will plan and deliver meaningful individual and group activities, work closely with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to ensure activities complement care goals, encourage participation and adapt activities to individual needs, while developing links with local groups and community

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering meaningful activities for individuals or groups.
• Creative, enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to different interests, abilities and needs.
• Organised, proactive and confident managing activities and resources.
• Compassionate, inclusive and person-centred approach.
• Experience supporting people with neurological conditions or complex care needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver meaningful individual and group activities reflecting each person’s interests and abilities.
• Work with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to align activities with care goals.
• Encourage participation, celebrate achievements and adapt activities to individual needs.
• Develop links with local groups, venues and community opportunities.
• Help residents explore new experiences and maintain interests.
