Job summary

PJ Care is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our team across Peterborough and Milton Keynes. You will evaluate speech and communication in adults with neurological conditions within a supportive MDT.

You will assess and monitor dysphagia, work with the dietician and catering team to enhance mealtime experiences, and contribute to a comprehensive treatment plan. Flexible hours are negotiable.

Qualifications

• Evaluate speech of residents with neurological conditions.
• Collaborate within an MDT to deliver high-quality therapy.
• Assess and monitor dysphagia with dietician input.
• Involve adults with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury and degenerative conditions in goal-focused treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech of residents with neurological conditions.
• Assess and monitor dysphagia and work with the dietician to optimise mealtime experience.
• Collaborate with a MDT including a Consultant, Clinical Neuropsychologist, and therapists to deliver high-quality care.
• Deliver goal-focused treatment plans to maximise residents' communication abilities and overall well-being.
