The Ministry of Justice in South Cave is recruiting a Neurodiversity Support Manager for HMP Humber. This full-time role focuses on leading neurodiversity support and designing a holistic Education, Skills and Work pathway for prisoners.

Experience in SEN/D and OFSTED EIF knowledge are highly valued. The position offers Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for eligible overseas applicants, a non-rotational role with opportunities for professional development, and a competitive pension.

Formación

• Experience in a specialist neurodiversity role is highly desirable.
• Experience in Special Educational Needs/Additional Learning Needs and Disabilities field.
• Detailed knowledge of OFSTED/Estyn EIF and further education and skills criteria.
• Substantial teaching experience with a range of strategies for developing accessible and appropriate resources.
• History of developing highly effective partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead support initiatives for neurodivergent prisoners and develop a 'whole system' approach to Education, Skills and Work within the sentence.
• Collaborate with the Head of Education Skills and Work, Learning and Skills Managers, and Industry Managers to align staff and partners with a shared ethos.
• Ensure staff and partners share a unified vision and ethos regarding neurodiversity and support reintegration into the community.
