Job summary

EMAT is seeking an Inclusion Support Practitioner to join the Rosewood provision at Prince William School in Oundle. You will support pupils with anxiety and neurodivergence, building positive relationships and helping them access education through a nurturing, trauma‑informed approach.

This permanent, full‑time role at EMAT Rosewood offers safeguarding responsibilities and opportunities to collaborate with teachers, families and external professionals within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, SEND, youth work or related field.
• Willingness to participate in safeguarding and DBS checks.
• Commitment to supporting anxious and neurodivergent learners.

Responsibilities

• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Support learners to engage with learning and build confidence.
• Work closely with teachers, families and external professionals.
• Use a nurturing and trauma‑informed approach to support emotional wellbeing.
• Help pupils develop strategies to manage anxiety and access education.
