Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services Ltd in Tees Valley seeks a dedicated Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to conduct comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD. This role emphasizes both NHS-funded and private referrals, aimed at delivering high-quality, evidence-based services.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience, be registered with a professional body, and possess strong communication skills to support children's and young people's needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations.
