Tees, Esk And Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in the Durham and Darlington CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service invites applications for a psychologist role. The post may be appointed at Band 7 with progression to Band 8a, or directly at Band 8a, depending on skills and experience.

You will join a multidisciplinary team across psychology, psychiatry, nursing, and SLT, with opportunities to supervise and contribute to complex neurodevelopmental assessments for school-aged children and

Formación

• Post-graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical / counselling / forensic psychology (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Trained in clinical supervision (within timescale).
• Trained in care co-ordination (within timescale) and CPD.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people with autism/ADHD.
• Contribute to formulation and diagnostic decision-making.
• Provide supervision and leadership where appropriate.
• Engage in service evaluation and development activities.
• Travel to venues across County Durham and Darlington as required.
