Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is advertising Band 7-8a Practitioner Psychologist under a Preceptorship development programme. The role focuses on delivering clinical psychology within the neurodevelopmental pathway for children and families, across citywide services.

We welcome applicants newly qualified or with experience seeking progression, with opportunities for development and inclusion in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Eligible for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
• Pre-qualification training in research methodology and staff development.
• Experience with neurodevelopmental assessments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical neurodevelopmental assessments for individuals, groups and families.
• Deliver specialist psychological services within the neurodevelopmental pathway.
• Offer consultation to other professionals and services within the division.
