Job summary

Elysium Healthcare’s Badby Park in Daventry is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support therapists in delivering personalised therapy plans for residents with neurological or mental health conditions. You will help run individual and group sessions, monitor progress, and contribute to recovery and independence goals within a supportive team.

You will work under supervision, participate in evaluating services, and adjust plans as needs change, while ensuring documentation is complete and

Qualifications

• GNVQ Level 3 or equivalent training is required.
• Experience in care or therapy settings is preferred.
• Ability to follow in-service training programmes and learn techniques to support therapists.

Responsibilities

• Undertake basic procedures as instructed by a qualified therapist while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Report changes in service user condition promptly.
• Maintain effective communication within the team and with clients and colleagues.
• Ensure accurate written/computerised documentation exist and is up to date.
• Handle information with care and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Attend in-service training to learn required techniques.
• Assist in creating a safe environment and promote independence.
• Comply with health and safety, COSHH, fire and manual handling procedures.
• Adhere to Elysium policies and procedures.
