Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Inpatient Physiotherapy team at the Oxford Centre for Enablement (OCE) to deliver high-quality neurological rehabilitation.

You will manage a clinical caseload, provide specialist assessment and planning, supervise band 5/6 staff, contribute to teaching, audits and service development, and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapy Degree and HCPC registration.
• Attendance at post-registration courses to show structured and progressive development in the assessment and treatment of neurological conditions
• At least 6 years post graduate experience, of which 4 years experience in neuro rehabilitation / neuro specific physio roles
• Neurological skills to include splinting, casting, orthotics, hydrotherapy, electrical stimulation, spasticity management, posture management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of clinical practice with a caseload.
• Provide clinical and professional supervision for staff within OCE.
• Lead education, supervision and appraisal activities for the team.
• Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to audits and service development.
• Liaise with MDTs in acute and community sectors to support patient care.
