Job description

JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Hertfordshire.

The pay for this position is £21-£24 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.

Job Description:
Will need experience in the assessment, treatment and management of complex neurological conditions including Stroke, Spinal Cord Injuries and Traumatic Brain Injuries.
You will be expected to manage a caseload of up to 8 patients. You will provide up to an hour of daily input to these patients alongside other physio's, Ots and rehabilitation assistants using a range of therapeutic adjuncts.
There will be an expectation to "link-work" 1-2 of your patients. This means you will coordinate the care and discharge planning of that patient, liaising with family members and chairing meetings where appropriate.
Accurate and timely documentation onto systmOne will then be required for each patient. As well as handing over any relevant information to the MDT.
