Job Title: Neuro Occupational Therapist Band 6

Location: Nottingham

Duration: Ongoing

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)

Start Date: April / May

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £25-£26 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients recovering from neurological conditions such as stroke, acquired brain injury, and other complex neuro diagnoses. Your role will include:

1. Conducting in-depth occupational therapy assessments
2. Designing and implementing neurorehabilitation plans
3. Supporting patients in regaining independence in ADLs
4. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
5. Contributing to discharge planning and onward referrals

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, applicants will need:

1. HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
2. Experience working in neurorehabilitation settings
3. Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
4. The ability to work autonomously and as part of an MDT
5. Strong documentation and communication abilities

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This position is full-time (Monday to Friday), but the service is open to part-time applicants. The contract is ongoing, with excellent potential for extension based on performance and service need.
