Are you a Band 6 Physiotherapist with experience in neuro or stroke rehabilitation? This exciting community-based locum opportunity in Hertfordshire offers fantastic flexibility, strong MDT support, and the chance to truly impact patient recovery in their own environment.

• Job Title: Physiotherapist (Band 6 – Neuro/Stroke)
• Location: Hertfordshire
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30 (Full-Time, Part-Time Considered)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: Competitive – £25–27 per hour (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist, you’ll be supporting patients with neurological conditions and stroke recovery, promoting independence and reducing hospital readmissions. Your role will include:

• carrying out detailed neuro/stroke physiotherapy assessments
• developing and delivering patient-centred rehab plans
• liaising with wider MDT including OTs, nurses, and speech & language therapists
• advising patients, families, and carers on exercises and ongoing management
• maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
• experience working with stroke/neuro patients, ideally in the community
• strong clinical reasoning, rehab planning, and communication skills
• ability to work autonomously and as part of an MDT
• car driver with access to a vehicle (preferred for community travel)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role is full-time (Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30), but part-time applicants are also welcome. The contract is ongoing with high potential for extension based on performance and service need.
