Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers seeks a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer to support a critical programme in Yeovil. You will be hands-on with configuration, provide lab support, and contribute to robust network architectures.

You will work closely with the Lead Systems Engineer to ensure delivery to exacting standards. Applicants should understand secure by design concepts, time-sensitive networking, and IP networking, with CISO experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on network configuration and lab support.
• Experience with network architectures and secure by design principles.
• Knowledge of IPv4 addressing and VLANs is essential.
• Familiarity with Open Systems Interconnection model.
• Experience in time-sensitive networking is desirable.
• CISO experience/qualification is advantageous.
• Security clearances (DV) are required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain lab network architectures and configurations.
• Configure systems per Lead Systems Engineer requirements.
• Support trials site activities and lab integrity.
• Ensure systems meet security and design standards.
• Contribute to deployment and implementation plans.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer to support a leading engineering team on a critical programme. This role involves hands-on configuration, lab support, and contributing to the development of robust network architectures. You’ll work closely with the Lead Systems Engineer and wider technical teams to ensure systems are delivered to exacting standards

Responsibilities

• Network Architecture for the Lab, maintaining Lab infrastructure and development areas.
• Configuration of systems as per Lead Systems Engineer requirements
• Supporting Trials Site activities
• Have a good understanding of UK MOD “secure by design”
• Understanding of Time Sensitive Networking
• CISO Experience/qualification
• Understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection Model
• Understanding of IPv4 Addressing
• Understanding of Virtual Local Area Network configuration
• Understanding of Network Implementation/Deployment
