A fantastic opportunity for a technically minded Network Support Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team delivering essential services to enterprise customers across the UK.

This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with cutting-edge networking technologies, supporting critical operations that underpin some of the UK's most important communications infrastructure.

In this role, you will take ownership of incident management, network monitoring, and technical troubleshooting across a multi-vendor environment. You'll support service continuity and performance by diagnosing faults, escalating where necessary, and liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers. You'll also contribute to ongoing service improvements and the implementation of best practices, while keeping up to date with emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a technical support or NOC environment within telecoms. A network certification (such as CCNA or JNCIA) is essential, and you'll have hands-on experience with technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business involved in major UK network deployments, where you can build your skills, work on high-impact projects, and be part of a team that values accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.

The Role:

  • Monitor and manage network incidents across voice and data networks

  • Diagnose and resolve incidents within SLAs

  • Use tools like SolarWinds and internal ticketing systems to track and manage issues

  • Direct field engineers during installations or onsite fault resolution

  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and maintain network security standards

  • Support and develop knowledge of DNS, Radius, IP networking, and routing protocols

The Person:

  • Experience in a Network Support, NOC, or Telecoms environment

  • Associate-level network certification (CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent)

  • Familiar with WAN technologies, troubleshooting Cisco/Juniper/Huawei networks

  • Understanding of IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and SD-WAN (Fortinet)

  • Familiar with ITIL processes for incident and change management
