Our client, a global leader in manufacturing and technology, is seeking an experienced Network Analyst and Support Engineer to join our European Network Services Team on an agency basis.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic, collaborative, and globally distributed team. You'll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting network services across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME) and beyond when required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Level 2/3 remote network helpdesk support for our client's EAME-based facilities, including factories, offices, and warehouses.
2. Support LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure through incident resolution, change implementation, and request fulfillment.
3. Participate in small-scale LAN design projects and assist in delivering infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
4. Collaborate with a global team to ensure network standards and policies are upheld across all locations.
5. Contribute to network documentation, design updates, and process improvements.
6. Join a rotating on-call support schedule (1 week every 2 months), including out-of-hours support as needed.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in network support and operations, ideally within a Cisco environment.
• Cisco IOS upgrades and configuration
• Cisco router/switch and WLC (Wireless LAN Controller) configuration
• Network troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and basic firewall principles
• Network documentation and change management
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy or Peregrine
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Putty, and other standard networking tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Cisco certifications above CCNA (e.g., CCNP)
• Exposure to project management methodologies
• Experience participating in global/regional projects
• Knowledge of additional languages (English is required; a second language is a plus)
