Are you an experienced Network & Unified Communications professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Network & Unified Communications Engineer to support and maintain a complex enterprise infrastructure across network and security platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-impact public sector environment, ensuring secure, reliable digital services for thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and maintenance of enterprise-level network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and unified communications (voice/video).
Monitor and optimise performance, ensuring reliable connectivity and network security.
Collaborate with systems and digital teams to enhance the availability and resilience of digital services.
Support ongoing infrastructure upgrades, patching, and compliance.
Contribute to continuous service improvement and digital strategy initiatives.

Essential Skills:
Professional training in IT and networking (e.g. CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security).
Demonstrable experience in network support and design, including security controls and firewalls.
In-depth knowledge of Cisco technologies, including architecture and integration.
Proficient with VoIP, video conferencing, and secure communications platforms.
Solid understanding of both Windows and Linux/Unix systems.

Desirable:
Advanced certifications such as Cisco CCNP or CCIE in Voice, UC, or Security.
