Our client is a specialist software consultancy tackling complex technical problems for customers across Defence, National Security, and Government sectors. Their Defence business is expanding rapidly, and they are now seeking an experienced Network Solution Architect to join a major digital transformation programme focused on modernising enterprise network services.

THE NETWORK SOLUTION ARCHITECT ROLE

As Network Solution Architect, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures across a large Defence IT refresh project. You’ll produce both high- and low-level designs, oversee implementation, and act as the strategic technical lead. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and provide consulting guidance to end clients around best practice infrastructure and tooling.

NETWORK SOLUTION ARCHITECT ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex network solutions in enterprise or Defence settings
• Strong background in technical architecture, network security, and cloud integration
• Experience creating technical Statements of Requirements and HLD/LLD documentation
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and modern DevOps principles
• Skilled in working with customers and managing technical stakeholder relationships
• Must be eligible for high-level UK security clearance (British citizen, UK resident for 5+ years)
