Network Service Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Service Technician to join our team at Thames Water. This is a customer-facing role that involves resolving network challenges to minimize disruption to customer supply. The role also supports Wholesale project work and ongoing leakage activities.

What you will be doing as a Network Service Technician

1. Operate the mains network, including controlling burst mains and ensuring mains are isolated for planned work, emergency repairs, and maintenance.
2. Take personal ownership of customer issues, respond to queries and complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
3. Ensure water quality compliance during repairs.
4. Act as a local network expert for isolation and rezoning, providing information for risk assessments and sharing network risk and safety information.
5. Investigate the clean water network to resolve issues like high or low pressure, leakage, metering queries, and loss of supply.
6. Work in compliance with company procedures, including the Business Operating Plan, health and safety standards, and streetworks legislation.
