Network & Server Engineer

Purpose of the Role

The key function of this position is to serve as a network and server engineer, with a specific focus on cybersecurity. This role involves developing and implementing secure network solutions, conducting assessments and penetration testing with remediation, managing audit/intrusion detection systems and security technology systems, as well as architecting and engineering trusted systems into secure systems.

This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of NAC solutions, firewall management, SIEM and SOC solutions, vendor management, switching and server architecture, encryption solutions, MFA solutions, as well as assisting with IoT device security and Wi-Fi solutions.

Note: This role requires supporting all sites, which includes occasional travel to DBN and CPT, in addition to local travel within Johannesburg between sites.
