Job Description:

Join us as a Network Security Technical Design Architect. You’ll collaborate across boundaries to build optimal solutions for public and private cloud environments, ensuring infrastructure technology complies with security, resilience, sustainability, and operational requirements, with observability and guardrails built in. You’ll champion automation to facilitate testing and deployment, mentor engineers, and share best practices across the bank, providing thought leadership and developing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer intuitive, self-service infrastructure products
• Develop technology standards and patterns within the Network Security Platform
• Translate market insights into customer-centric products
• Lead high availability, low cost system development
• Participate in programme planning, system demos, and retrospectives
• Share learnings within a community of practice
• Drive innovative ideas through product features

Skills and Experience:

We seek a collaborative communicator with experience in designing enterprise application delivery solutions, including vendor technologies like F5 ADCs and NGINX ingress for Kubernetes. Knowledge of automation, DevOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC) is essential, with familiarity in GCP and Azure being advantageous.

• Proven experience with F5 LTM, DNS, and AWAF
• Experience with NGINX ingress controller and NGINX App Protect for Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS networking and Terraform for automated deployments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably OpenShift
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab
• Networking fundamentals at CCNA or CCNP level (certification not required)
• Ability to explore multiple solutions and innovate to overcome barriers
