Job Description
Salary:Dependent on experience
Working Hours:8:30AM - 5:30PM (37.5 hours)
Location:Field Based - UK
Responsibilities:
- Have a strong understanding of network & security technologies: such as DIA, MPLS, SASE, SD-WAN, Firewall etc.
- Demonstrate product and industry credibility to customers and internal teams and provide strategic guidance on the latest Services and technologies.
- Understand client requirements and provide expert advice, helping businesses align their technology with their overall business goals.
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention through collaboration with internal delivery and support teams ensuring timely delivery of services, addressing client concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
- To accurately report sales forecast using relevant company systems
- Educate the wider sales force on the opportunity and changes in the marketplace.
- To attend monthly sales meetings with sales teams to generate opportunities.
- Aid marketing in designing campaigns to drive inbound leads.
- To Maintain up to date vender and industry certifications.
- Provide feedback to internal heads on improvements to Daisy’s value proposition.
Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of B2B sales experience in telecoms, IT services or managed security services.
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, connectivity solutions, and cybersecurity products.
- Solid technical aptitude, with an understanding of how network and security solutions integrate into various systems and environments.
- Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet). Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or CCNP are desirable but not essential
- Strong sales skills and a proven track record of their sales performance are essential, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to identify customer needs, map solutions effectively, and clearly communicate the value proposition to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Confident in handling pre-sales technical queries and providing accurate, relevant information to support the sales process.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Commercially astute, with experience in the structuring and negotiation of deals.
- Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and ambition for career progression.
