A leading telecommunications company in the UK seeks a Cyber Incident Decision Maker. Responsibilities include ensuring effective incident response and providing security advice to both internal and external stakeholders. 1. We need you to be a cyber incident decision maker, responsible for ensuring that mitigation controls and incident response are appropriate.
2. Providing security advice and remediation to Lines of Business within BT and external customers.
3. Completing and owning integration testing on new products and services, producing all relevant supporting documentation.
4. Supporting team leader and line manager positively.
5. Ensuring full awareness of the need to safeguard sensitive customer information at all times, so that customers perceive BT as a trustworthy organization.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, change management, and stakeholder management.
What we would like to see on your CV:
1. External professional certification in security-related discipline e.g., Fortinet NSE 4, Cisco CCNP, Checkpoint CCSE, Palo Alto, etc.
2. Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP & OSI seven-layer model and how data networks are structured and operate.
3. Knowledge of best engineering practices and continuous delivery.
4. Experience with incident and escalation management.
5. Willingness to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
