This is a fully remote / full-time position based in the UK, with an estimated 50% travel.

Salary: £65–80k

Are you a network security expert passionate about designing, deploying, and optimizing cybersecurity solutions? Our client, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider partnering with vendors like Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper Networks, seeks a Professional Services Engineer.

The Role:

Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-grade security solutions for clients. Lead projects from pre-sales to implementation, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer, maximizing client security investments.

What You’ll Do:

• Deploy & optimize security solutions (Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper)
• Lead client implementations, migrations, and upgrades (remote & on-site)
• Collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams on technical solutions
• Develop documentation (designs, runbooks, guides)
• Provide troubleshooting & performance tuning
• Stay updated on threats, vendor updates, and trends
• Conduct client training & knowledge transfer

Skills You’ll Need:

• 3+ years in Professional Services or Network Security Engineering
• Hands-on experience with at least two of: Check Point (GAiA, R80.x), Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager)

Deep knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, routing/switching, and cloud security. Bonus skills include SOAR/SIEM, scripting (Python/Bash), or cloud security (AWS/Azure). Certifications like ITIL, PMP, or cloud security are advantageous.
