Job Description:

This is a fully remote / full-time position based in the UK, with an estimated 50% travel.

Salary: £65–80k

Are you passionate about designing, deploying, and optimizing cybersecurity solutions? Our client, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider partnering with top vendors like Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper Networks, seeks a Professional Services Engineer to deliver high-impact security implementations.

The Role:

You will be the technical authority, designing, configuring, and deploying enterprise-grade security solutions, leading projects from pre-sales to implementation, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to ensure maximum client value.

What You’ll Do:

• Deploy & optimize security solutions (Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper)
• Lead client implementations, migrations, and upgrades (remote & on-site)
• Collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams to scope and propose solutions
• Develop documentation such as designs, runbooks, and guides
• Provide troubleshooting & performance tuning
• Stay updated on threats, vendor updates, and trends
• Conduct client training & knowledge transfer sessions

Skills You’ll Need:

• 3+ years in Professional Services, Network Security Engineering, or similar
• Hands-on expertise in at least two of: Check Point (GAiA, R80.x), Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager)
• Deep knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, routing/switching, cloud security

Bonus if you have experience with SOAR/SIEM, scripting (Python/Bash), or cloud security (AWS/Azure). Certifications like ITIL, PMP, or cloud security are a plus.
