Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

Opticore IT is currently searching for a Network Security Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects involving design, implementation, and support of Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access solutions with various clients. This is a hybrid position with occasional client site visits, potentially 1 day a week at most.

This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, which is highly likely to be extended.

What you'll be doing:

• Representing Opticore, working with our client, a leader in security, on multiple projects focused on their SDWAN solution.
• Collaborating directly with clients to help them achieve their goals and understand their needs versus wants.
• Engaging with customers during discovery, design, implementation, and handover phases.
• Addressing various issues, from product-related to internal network problems.
• Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on their product set and main contact for the project lifecycle (design & implementation).
• Assisting customers with hardware sizing.
