This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Network Security Engineer to join a market-leading company specializing in the design and manufacture of fireplaces, supplying internationally. You will play a key role within the wider IT team, focusing on network security, cyber security, and supporting core IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage network security and communications.
• Focus on cybersecurity and risk mitigation.
• Ensure optimal IP and protection.
• Support core IT systems, including Active Directory, web connectivity, and endpoint security.
• Conduct penetration testing and assist with failover planning to minimize risks.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve network infrastructure and security protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Expertise in LAN/WAN/VLAN, VPN, and wireless communications.
• Proficiency in firewall management (preferably Fortigate).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux, Windows OS, and virtualization technologies like VMware.
• Experience with Dell core and edge switches is advantageous.
• Proven track record in cybersecurity roles such as Cybersecurity Engineer, Security Engineer, or Network Analyst.
