Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an experienced Network & Security Architect to design and deliver end-to-end network and security architectures aligned with client objectives. You will collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and vendors to define target architecture and provide technical leadership, addressing security, compliance, resilience and operational needs.

In this role you will lead on enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, solution design and transformation, and pre-sales

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise networking, security, infrastructure, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years in network and security architecture roles.
• Strong enterprise networking architecture across LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, load balancing, and high availability.
• Strong security architecture across firewalls, segmentation, VPN, secure access, NAC, web security, and IPS/IDS.
• Hands-on architecture with SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, cloud security, and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Good understanding of Azure and/or AWS networking including VNets, gateways, private connectivity, routing, and security controls.
• Ability to produce architecture artefacts, HLDs, LLDs, migration designs, standards, and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of automation, IaC, observability, network management, and service assurance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end network and security architectures aligned to business goals.
• Define target architecture with customers, delivery teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and governance, ensuring security, compliance and resilience.
• Contribute to pre-sales and customer engagement with architecture artefacts.

Your profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, security, infrastructure, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in network and security architecture roles
• Strong enterprise networking architecture experience across LAN, WAN, WLAN, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, load balancing, and high availability.
• Strong security architecture experience across firewalls, segmentation, VPN, secure access, network access control, web security, and intrusion prevention.
• Hands-on architecture experience with SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust Network Access, cloud security, and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Good understanding of Azure and/or AWS networking, including virtual networks, connectivity gateways, private connectivity, routing, and security controls.
• Experience designing resilient, scalable, and secure solutions for complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to produce architecture artefacts, HLDs, LLDs, migration designs, technology standards, and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of automation, infrastructure as code, observability, network management, and service assurance is desirable.
