Job summary

Liberty Global is seeking a senior Network Security Engineer to protect our global ISP networks, lead security monitoring, and coordinate incident response with engineering and security teams across regions.

You will translate security findings into risk actions, drive improvements in BGP/BCP, DNS/DNSSEC hygiene, and work with external bodies to align with industry best practices. Fluent English required; hybrid or London-based with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of networking, security and monitoring.
• Experience securing large ISP networks.
• Familiarity with network hygiene: BCP38/84 anti-spoofing, RPKI, BGP routing practices, RIRs, DNS/DNSSEC.

Responsibilities

• Assure core and global tier-1 network security.
• Collaborate with core network architects and security teams.
• Translate security findings into risk and actionable guidance.
• Drive improvements in network security and hygiene across tier-1 core network.
• Mentor engineers and act as escalation point for security issues.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with SOC and external bodies.
