Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Local Networking Engineer in London to plan, design and optimize the network and security infrastructure across the organization. The role emphasizes delivering digital-first networking and secure connectivity to support a sustainable, resilient operation.

The candidate should bring extensive hands-on experience, be capable of leading initiatives, and collaborate with global teams while driving high-impact improvements in telecom, routing, switching and security

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience in network and security infrastructure.
• Autonomous and able to mentor/train other engineers.
• Provides clear goals for all network areas in a project and oversees their timely execution.
• Act as a project manager for delivering Network internal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the planning, designing, and optimization for all aspects of the network and security infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, etc.).
• Network engineering support for IP telephony solutions and video conferencing systems.
• Planning and deployment of other network and security related systems.
• Curation of Network Management & Monitoring Systems and ensuring monitoring tools are secure and performing.
