Job summary

Eaton’s Lakeside facility is seeking a Supply Chain Network Scheduler to own short-term finished goods plans across markets, balancing supply and demand within 0–12 weeks, and coordinating with buyers, planners and production schedulers to resolve capacity and material constraints.

Key duties include creating the Master Production Schedule, reporting KPIs, managing exceptions, and driving corrective actions with operations to improve on-time delivery and inventory health, while ensuring ERP data

Qualifications

  • CPIM certification, deep functional understanding of supply chain processes, and ability to forecast and manage demand.
  • Experience with MRP and ERP systems, and capability to drive end-to-end planning.
  • Strong collaboration across buyers, planners and production schedulers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop timely and accurate plans for finished products in the 0–12 week horizon.
  • Manage short-term exceptions and drive root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
  • Create the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and coordinate CoE resources.
  • Interface with operations to drive schedule adherence and monitor KPIs.
  • Escalate and address capacity or material shortages and drive improvements.

This is where innovation meets reliability, and where every product plays a role in keeping fleets airborne and operations secure.What you’ll do:The Supply Chain Network Scheduler is a key role in the integrated, intelligent and agile supply chain organization, focusing on the 0-3 months execution horizon, owning short term product availability and exception management for FG & semi-finished goods for their value stream across markets where there is an imbalance between supply and demand. The Supply Chain Network Scheduler Is the primary face of supply for a given value stream, owning capacity & material constraint escalations by leveraging scenario planning and ensuring collaboration between demand and supply stakeholders. This role reports into the Network Planner role.Primary Responsibilities:• Develop timely and accurate plans for finished products at assigned level of the supply network and for short-term finished goods availability in the markets within the 0 to 12 weeks horizon for their portfolio.• Manage all exceptions in the short-term horizon and collaborate with teams across the Eaton network and external vendors as needed, to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventative actions to solve exceptions.• Create the Master Production Schedule (MPS)• Coordinate team of CoE resources (buyers, planners, production schedulers...) to deliver MPS Plan• Interface with operations to drive schedule adherence• Report and analyze key performance indicators to drive supply network improvements in cash, cost and customer service results.• Manage all exceptions in the 0-12 weeks horizon where there is an imbalance in demand and supply, collaborate on root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.• Ensure capacity shortages are addressed or escalated.• Evaluate and share the impact of material exceptions on the short-term FG plan with material planners.• Monitor customer on-time service level and inventory exceptions in the short term• Participate in decision making and movement of slow moving inventory within the value stream• Monitor planning parameters accuracy by conducting periodic audits and getting ERP updated as needed.• Act as primary point of contact for product availability in their value stream• Stay close to the demand information to react quicker to changes• Own escalations, brings to conclusion in cooperation with material planners, buyers and production schedulersQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution• Minimum 3 years’ combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or engineering from accredited institution• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution• 5 or more years in supply chain managementSkills:• CPIM certification• Deep functional understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, SIOP, Materials Management, demand planning and forecasting, end-to-end planning, master production Scheduling’ , capacity analysis, inventory management.• Working understanding of MRP area.• Ability to adapt and to get results in a complex environment• Influential and collaborative, able to challenge the status quo to solve complex challenges• Must be able to build strong relationships at all levels• Ability to use data to generate scenarios, and drive decision-makingWhat we offer:Competitive compensation and benefits packageChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative teamGreat company benefitsWe make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possibleWe make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton UniversityWe make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the through power management technologiesWe make your wellbeing matter – We put your health and safety first.
