LA International is seeking a Network Engineer - Proxies to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of 28 proxy servers across a hybrid Barrow-in-Furness site. The role involves incident response, patch management, and coordinating changes to ensure continuous service delivery.
You will join a Network Operations Centre team, enabling you to grow technical skills through training and hands-on experience while supporting SAS application projects and various ad hoc server initiatives.

Location: Barrow in-Furness | Hybrid - 80% office & 20% home

This role will support the day-to-day management and maintenance of 28 proxy servers, including 10 in non-business, 3 in business, 14 in conferencing and messaging, 1 test environment, and 2 PAC file servers. Responsibilities include configuration changes, monthly patching across all 28 servers, handling approximately 30-40 incidents per week, processing 20-30 web access requests per week, supporting new project implementation for SAS applications, and responding to additional ad hoc requests such as server implementations.
Primary skills: Proxy infrastructure support, server maintenance, incident management, change implementation, patch management, web access administration, troubleshooting, operational support, and stakeholder coordination.
