At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. The goal of the Same Day organization is to build a world class last mile operation, exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.
We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed candidate to support network optimization. The Topology Strategy Analyst will work within the Speed Planning team, helping us to create and extract meaning from large volumes of data to make the right business decisions on the coverage for each site within the EU network and support expansion or network optimization.
In this role, you will dive deep into data to drive improvements across quality, speed, and cost metrics, partnering with stakeholders from first- and middle-mile functions as well as local operational teams. You thrive in an environment of ambiguously defined problems, big challenges, and rapid change. You possess strong collaboration skills and can balance detailed execution with a strategic mindset.
You will work on a variety of analytics projects, designing and implementing solutions to improve operational consistency, reliability, and overall end-to-end delivery performance. Through a combination of data-driven insights and hands-on project execution, you will identify areas of opportunity and propose process changes to reduce defects, enhance customer experience, and optimize resource allocation.
In order to be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders as well as driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. Keeping an open mind, sense of humor, drive and ambition will help you remain innovative in our culture. This will be an exciting opportunity for you to possess a high level of autonomy, drive real operational improvements while managing a variety of job responsibilities.
This is a 12 month contract.
