Job summary

Seargin is seeking a dedicated Network Patch Management Specialist to own the end-to-end lifecycle for enterprise network infrastructure in the UK. The role involves coordinating with cybersecurity and operations teams to prioritize remediation of critical and high‑risk vulnerabilities, planning deployments, and validating patches for Cisco, Palo Alto, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in network operations, infrastructure support, or patch management in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience with vulnerability management, patch governance, change management, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end patch management lifecycle for network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN gateways.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams and service assurance to prioritize remediation of high-risk vulnerabilities.
• Review vendor advisories and patch notices to assess relevance and priority.
• Plan and schedule patch deployment with network operations, security, and business stakeholders.
• Validate patch compatibility and rollback requirements before deployment.
• Coordinate testing of patches in lab or staging environments when applicable.
• Monitor post-patch health and lead rollback actions if needed.
• Maintain accurate patch status records and compliance reporting.
