Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working as part of a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What You’ll Do:
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate and dispatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Organize traffic management, coordinating with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  • Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
  • Liaise with utility companies about power-related network issues.
Who You Are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
