Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), London

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Assign tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Collaborate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
