Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks to maintain the nation's essential infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The Network Operations Centre (NOC) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Assign tickets to technical support, field engineers, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, regional control, and field resources.
  7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
