The University of South Wales (USW) - CAPSE is seeking a Network Manager to lead secure network services and drive technology initiatives across the institution. You will manage and develop network strategies to ensure performance and ongoing improvement, aligning IT solutions with student and staff needs.

This full-time, permanent role requires staying abreast of network security trends, guiding architectural direction with the architecture team, and implementing new solutions as needed to

Salary Starting salary £58,226.00 per annum

As a Network Manager, you'll lead the effort to provide secure network services within our institution. This role is vital for our organisation's growth and success. You'll manage and develop network technology initiatives, ensuring our current systems perform well and continuously improve. Your goal is to integrate technology solutions that meet the needs of our students and university colleagues effectively.

Responsibilities will include staying updated on the latest network security trends and innovations. Leading our technical direction alongside our architecture team. Implementing new solutions as needed.

You'll shape the future of our IT Services, helping us achieve our goals by using technology to create a robust and secure environment. This environment will enhance the learning experience for our students
and academics.

This is a full-time and permanent position. Open to internal professional services candidates or those employed by Professional and Support Services Limited.


If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University / RWCMD (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
