Job summary

Free-Work UK, acting for a leading bank in Central London, seeks a Network Infrastructure Engineer with 5–10 years of hands-on experience to manage and deliver complex network projects.

This on-site role at the bank’s Central London offices is a 6‑month FTC with a salary in the £45k–£55k range. Banking sector exposure is highly desirable for candidates.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years hands-on network infrastructure experience
• Experience in Financial Services or Banking sector preferred
• On-site London office, 3 days per week on location
• FTC position for 6 months with salary circa £45k–£55k

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver network infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain and troubleshoot network security, switches and routers
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project delivery

Our Client a bank with offices in Central London are looking to recruit a Network Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5 to 10 years hands-on experience. The Client is ideally looking for a candidate with a Financial Services or Banking sector experience.

Technical/Functional Skills

• Proficient in common windows operating systems
• Windows 11, Windows Server 2019-2025 , Redhat & Ubunto Linux based Operating Systems

Software proficiency

• VMWare vSphere & vCenter v8.0 and above
• Veeam Backup and Replication
• Veeam Orchestrator and VeeamOne,Symantec Endpoint Protection
• Symantec Endpoint Encryption
• ManageEngine Endpoint Central
