Network Field Engineer Level 2/3, London

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Network Field Engineer Level 2/3 to join our team in London, UK. This role involves supporting complex tactical communication systems worldwide, with opportunities for travel and skill development.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting operations and maintenance of airborne and terrestrial tactical communication systems.
  • Managing and troubleshooting Linux and network components, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and voice services.
  • Performing system administration, cyber security tasks, and supporting voice services like Asterisk and Cisco CUBE.
  • Working closely with clients and internal teams, troubleshooting, and documenting procedures and reports.
  • Traveling up to 75% to overseas locations and supporting exercises as needed.
Qualifications:
For Level 2:
  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years' experience or equivalent in repair, configuration, troubleshooting of network devices.
  • Experience with Linux, Cisco systems, IP networks, and security certifications (Security+, CCNA/CCNP).
  • Active Secret clearance and willingness to travel.
For Level 3:
  • Bachelor's Degree + 5 years' experience or equivalent.
  • Same technical experience and clearance requirements as Level 2.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with VMware, Windows servers, military communication hardware, and advanced networking protocols.
Additional Information:

Salary ranges from $65,500 to $121,000, with potential bonuses and benefits. The role requires physical fitness and willingness to deploy overseas.
