Job Summary

Seeking a Network Engineer with at least 5 years of experience, CCNA certification (or higher), and knowledge of network protocols, wireless, SD-WAN, and SASE. Remote role with occasional travel and a full UK driving license.

This role involves working hours from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (GMT/BST), Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota (1 week every 5 weeks).

Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network issues across protocols and platforms.
• Support cloud WAF, support and maintain cloud and network security solutions.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams and travel for on-site support.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years in network engineering.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, TCP/IP, BGP, WPA3, Wi-Fi 6E/7.
• CCNA or higher certification within last 5 years.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki, routers, switches, firewalls.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and remote work skills.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel.

Preferred:

• Additional certifications like CCNP, JNCIA.
• Experience with cloud networking, automation, Ubiquiti solutions, monitoring tools.
